How do I access the Insight to Impact Dashboards?

To access the Insight to Impact Dashboards, enter the web address tealprod.tea.state.tx.us into your web browser and hit Enter. Log in to the TEAL system with your account credentials.

What should I do if I don't have a TEAL account?

If you don’t have a TEAL account, click on the “Request New User Account” link on the TEAL Login Page. Fill out the necessary personal information on the New User Application Page and submit the form. You will receive an email with instructions to create a password and activate your new account within a few business days.

How do I apply for access to the Insight to Impact Dashboards?

Once logged into your TEAL account, you can apply for access by clicking on the “Apply for Access” link if you don’t have access to any TEAL applications. If you have other TEAL applications, go to the “My Application Accounts” tab, click on “Request New Account,” find the I2I application in the list, and select “Add Access.”

What information do I need to provide when requesting access?

You will need to enter your organization name, select your role, and ensure your employing and authorizing organizations are the same. Depending on the role you select, you might need to provide additional information regarding the type of data access required.

What are the different user roles available, and what do they mean?

  • TEA Roles: For internal TEA users only.
  • EPP User Role with Individual Data: Access to all data visualizations and specific individual candidate information.
  • EPP User Role without Individual Data: Access to all data visualizations without individual candidate information.
  • Professional Role EPP Users: Access to data related to professional certifications (counselors, principals, etc.).

To track the progress, go to “Requests I’ve Submitted” from the left menu, select the request you want to track, and hit “View Details.” You will see the current approval status in the Status Detail box.

How will I know when my access request is approved?

You will receive an email notification once your request is approved by the primary approver from your organization and TEA. The final status will be provided via email.

Can I modify my roles or add new roles after gaining access?

Yes, you can modify or add roles at any time by clicking on the “Add/Modify Access” link next to Insight to Impact on the Access Applications page. Follow the prompts to update your roles and save the changes.

What should I do if I encounter issues during the application process?

If you encounter any issues, ensure all information is correctly entered and that your employing and authorizing organizations match. If problems persist, contact TEA support for assistance.
