Educator Employment

Details counts of employed candidates by LEA for your EPP and includes counts of certified candidates employed by certification year, and change in employment role, location, or subject.

Navigate to Educator Employment

Select the “Educator Employment” page from the menu. On this page, you will be able to filter information by Certification Year, Program Type, LEA, Certification Type, Race, and Sex.

View employment counts by role, location, or subject

The first visual is titled “Employment Map.” This map indicates the location of LEAs where educators are employed for your EPP. This view will change based on your selected filters.
  1. Double-click on the map or use the “plus” key on your keyboard to zoom in. To zoom out, use the “minus” key on your keyboard.
  2. “Click” and drag your mouse to move the map in the screen window.
  3. Hover over the markers on the map to view a chart of LEAs in the area, the number of employed candidates from your EPP, and the year of employment. (In the example below, the map is zoomed in to Mesquite ISD, and the pop-up LEA chart lists schools in the district and the number of employed candidates at each campus. For the pop-up LEA chart, you may need to use the scroll bar on the right to view all of the campuses.)

View the Number of Certified and Employed Candidates

The second visual is titled, “Employment Chart for Certified Candidates.” The chart indicates the percentage of certified candidates who were “Employed vs. “Not Employed” for an academic year in your EPP. This view will change based on your selected filters.

View the Change in Employment Role, Location, or Subject

The third visual is titled “Change in Employment Role, Location, or Subject.” The graph indicates percentage changes in role, location, or subject for employed candidates in an employment year for your EPP. This view will change based on your selected filters.

The fourth visual is titled, “Change in Employment Counts.” The chart indicates changes in counts by subject, role, and location in an employment year for your EPP. This view will change based on your selected filters.

Click on each column title to sort the table in ascending or descending order.
