Candidate Employment

Find details about the number of professional candidates certified and employed in their certification area for your EPP. This dashboard includes Local Education Agency (LEA) placement details and professional candidate demographics.

Navigate to Candidate Employment

Select “Candidate Employment” from the menu. On this page, you will be able to filter data according to LEA, Campus, Certification Role, Certification Year, Certification Type, Race/Ethnicity, and Gender.

View the Number of Certified and Employed-in-Certification Educators

The first visual is titled “Number of Certified and Employed-in-Certification Educators.” The bar graph indicates the number of certified educators and the number of educators who are employed in their certification area within a Local Education Agency (LEA) for your EPP. This view will change based on your selected filters.

View the Number of Educators Employed in their Certification Area by Race and Certification Type

  1. The second visual is titled, “Number of Educators Employed in their Certification Area by Race and Certification Type.” This bar graph disaggregates the number of educators employed in their certification area, the number of educators not employed in their certification area, and the number of educators not employed in an LEA by race and certification type for your EPP. This view will change based on your selected filters.
  1. The tables below show details about the certification grade levels and roles. This view will change based on your selected filters.
  1. For the Certification Grade Level, you may need to use the scroll bar on the right to view all of the grade levels.
  2. For the Certification Role, you may need to use the scroll bar on the right to view the list of roles.

View the Number of Employed-in-Certification Educators by LEA

The third visual is titled, “Number of Employed-in-Certification Educators by LEA.” This map indicates the location and number of candidates employed at LEAs and campuses for your EPP. This view will change based on your selected filters.
  1. Double-click on the map or use the “plus” key on your keyboard to zoom in. To zoom out, use the “minus” key on your keyboard.
  2. Click and drag your mouse to move the map in the screen window.
  3. Hover over the markers on the map to view a chart of campuses in the LEA, the number of employed-in-certification educators from your EPP, and the year of employment. (In the example below, the map is zoomed in to Austin ISD and the pop-up campus chart lists schools in the district and the number of employed candidates at each campus. For the pop-up campus chart, you may need to use the scroll bar on the right to view all of the campuses.)
